Can WipeAway reset a school timetable without rebuilding calendars?

This is one of the most common uses of WipeAway in education. At the end of each academic year, school IT teams need to clear timetable and lesson schedule calendars — but deleting the calendar itself would mean losing the sharing permissions that took time to configure, and breaking any room booking or MIS integrations that depend on it.

WipeAway removes only the events. The calendar remains in place, shared with the same staff, connected to the same systems. Staff see their familiar calendars, ready for the new academic year's timetable to be loaded.

How it works for schools

1. Sign into WipeAway using a Google account with edit access to the timetable calendars
2. Select all the school calendars to reset
3. Set the cut-off date to the last day of the previous academic year
4. Review the event count and confirm

Recurring lesson series are handled automatically — past instances are removed, the calendar structure is preserved.
