Sign-in problems are usually caused by browser settings, extensions, or the wrong Google account being used. Work through the steps below to resolve the issue.
If you have multiple Google accounts, make sure you are signing in with the one that owns or has access to the calendars you want to clean. If in doubt, sign out of all Google accounts in your browser and sign back into just the one you want to use with WipeAway.
Stale cached data can interfere with the sign-in process. Clear your browser's cache and cookies for wipeaway.app, then try again.
Ad blockers, privacy extensions, and cookie managers can interfere with Google's OAuth sign-in. Try disabling all extensions, then attempt to sign in again. If it works, re-enable extensions one by one to find the culprit.
Google Chrome generally works best with Google sign-in. If you are using Firefox, Safari or Edge, try Chrome as a test. If sign-in works in Chrome but not your usual browser, the issue is browser-specific.
Google's sign-in requires cookies. If your browser is set to block all cookies, sign-in will fail. Check your browser's cookie settings and make sure cookies are allowed at minimum for google.com and wipeaway.app.
Getting an "Access blocked" or "This app isn't verified" message? This can appear temporarily during Google's review process. If you see this, click Advanced → Go to wipeaway.app (unsafe) to proceed. This message does not mean WipeAway is harmful — it appears while apps await Google's verification.
If none of the above resolves your issue, contact us with your browser name and version, and the exact error message you are seeing. A screenshot is helpful if possible.
