In WipeAway's calendar list, some calendars appear with a View only label. These calendars cannot be selected for cleaning.
A calendar is shown as "View only" when the Google account you are signed in with can see the calendar but does not have permission to edit it. To delete events from a calendar, WipeAway needs edit (or owner) level access — view access alone is not sufficient.
Common examples of "View only" calendars:
If you need to clean a calendar that is showing as "View only", the calendar owner needs to change your permission level:
Once the permission is updated, sign out of WipeAway and sign back in — the calendar should now be available for cleaning.
Holiday calendars cannot be cleaned. Google-managed calendars (like public holiday calendars) cannot be given edit permissions — this is a Google restriction, not a WipeAway limitation. If you want to remove holiday events, you would need to unsubscribe from the holiday calendar and recreate it.
