What is WipeAway?

WipeAway is a web application that helps Google Calendar users remove unwanted events in bulk — quickly, safely, and without deleting or rebuilding the calendar itself.

The problem WipeAway solves

Google Calendar is excellent at adding events. Over months and years, most calendars accumulate hundreds or thousands of old meetings, expired recurring reminders, past appointments, and completed project entries that are no longer needed.

Google Calendar has no built-in tool to remove events in bulk. Deleting them one by one is slow and impractical. Deleting the calendar entirely means losing the sharing permissions and integrations that everything else depends on.

WipeAway fills this gap.

How WipeAway works

1. Sign in with your Google account using Google's official OAuth system — no password is ever shared with WipeAway
2. Select one or more of your Google Calendars from the list that appears
3. Set a cut-off date — only events before this date will be affected
4. Review the exact count of events that will be removed before anything is deleted
5. Confirm and start the deletion — WipeAway removes all selected events, including recurring series

The calendar itself remains completely intact throughout this process. Its name, colour, sharing permissions, and any integrations that depend on it are untouched.

Who uses WipeAway?

WipeAway is used by individuals who want a clean personal calendar, and by organisations that need to reset shared calendars at scale — including schools clearing end-of-year timetables, IT administrators cleaning Workspace calendars after migrations, healthcare providers removing historical appointment data, and operations teams resetting seasonal schedules.

What WipeAway does not do

• WipeAway never deletes a calendar — only the events within it
• WipeAway never accesses Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or any other Google service
• WipeAway never stores calendar event content on its servers
• WipeAway never takes any action without your explicit confirmation
