Can I get a refund?

WipeAway Help Centre·3 min read·Updated July 2026

Our refund policy follows the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, with specific provisions for digital content.

The 14-day statutory right

Under UK law, you have a 14-day right to cancel a digital purchase. However, by signing into WipeAway and running a calendar deletion within those 14 days, you explicitly acknowledge that you have started using the digital content and agree to waive this statutory right.

This means:

  • If you purchased a licence and have not yet signed in or run a deletion — you may be entitled to a refund. Contact us within 14 days of purchase.
  • If you have signed in and run a deletion — the statutory refund right has been waived by use of the product.

Discretionary refunds

Outside of the statutory window, all sales are final. However, we review requests on a case-by-case basis in the following situations:

  • Technical defect — if WipeAway did not function as described and we are unable to resolve the issue, we will consider a refund
  • Duplicate purchase — if you accidentally purchased the same licence twice, contact us and we will refund the duplicate

How to request a refund

Contact us with:

  • The email address used at purchase
  • Your licence key
  • A brief description of why you are requesting a refund

We aim to respond within one business day. Where a refund is approved, it is processed via the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Nothing in our Terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, as required by UK law.
