Is my calendar data safe? What do you do with it?

WipeAway is designed with a minimal-data approach. Your calendar event content is never stored on WipeAway's servers, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising or analytics.

What WipeAway accesses

• Calendar names and IDs — to show you the list of calendars you can choose from
• Event IDs and dates — to count events before your cut-off date and identify which ones to delete
• Your Google account email address — to link your licence key to the correct account

What WipeAway never does

• Read event titles, descriptions, notes, or attendee information
• Store calendar event content on any WipeAway server or database
• Share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party
• Use your calendar data for analytics, profiling, or marketing
• Access Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or any other Google service

How your data is processed

When you run a deletion, WipeAway communicates directly with the Google Calendar API within your authenticated session. Event data passes from Google's servers to WipeAway's servers only long enough to process the deletion request — it is never written to a database or log file.

What is stored permanently

The only information WipeAway retains after your session ends:

• Your Google account email address — stored in a private Google Sheet, used solely to validate your licence
• Your licence key and its status (active/expired) — stored in the same Sheet
• Standard server logs maintained by Vercel (our hosting provider) — retained per Vercel's standard policy

No calendar event data is included in any of the above.
