Yes — WipeAway works on mobile browsers including Chrome for Android, Safari for iOS, Samsung Internet, and Firefox for mobile. No app download is required — simply visit wipeaway.app in your mobile browser.
What works on mobile
- Signing in with your Google account
- Viewing your list of calendars
- Counting events before a cut-off date
- Running a deletion — including recurring series
- Signing out via the Sign out button in the top-right corner
Tips for the best mobile experience
- Keep the screen on — some phones dim or lock the screen during long deletions. Keep WipeAway in the foreground and prevent your screen from turning off while the deletion runs.
- Stay on the WipeAway tab — some mobile browsers suspend background tabs to save battery. If you switch apps or open another tab during a deletion, the process may be interrupted.
- Use Chrome on Android or Safari on iOS — these work best with Google's sign-in flow. Other browsers may occasionally have issues with the OAuth redirect.
- Use a stable connection — mobile data connections can drop mid-deletion. Wi-Fi is more reliable for large calendars.
For very large calendars
If you are cleaning a calendar with thousands of events, a desktop or laptop browser is more reliable than a mobile device. Mobile browsers are more likely to suspend the tab during long operations. For personal calendars with a few hundred events, mobile works well.
